ESN Slovakia Board
National Board of ESN Slovakia the binding force between the sections, but are also acting as a link between the local and international level of ESN. NB organize national events and most importantly, National Platforms. During these platforms, which are usually organized a two times a year, all sections from Slovakia come together to discuss all issues concerning the local, national and international level of ESN. As an example also new sections are accepted during these platforms. The National Boards of different counties meet twice a year during the National Boards Meeting for cooperation, communicating and learning from each others practical experiences. Slovak National Board consists of 5 positions: President, National Representative, Webmaster, Treasurer and Fundraiser (External Relations)

Hi dears, my name is Júlia Marcinčinová and as a current president of ESN Slovakia I consider it as a great pleasure to say some words about myself in here.
Born in Prešov, in an artistic town in eastern part of Slovakia, studied British and American Studies and been involved in ESN matters for some time. Erasmus study has changed my life for ever. Intercultural learning, voluntary work, educational opportunities and personal growth are attributes of my work in ESN I will carry on with me for the rest of my life. Now being a president of this amazing network in Slovakia is a challenge but a pleasuring one of course! I love meeting new people and listen to their ideas and thoughts; that makes me a listener willing to support people for what they are doing. We are a country with thousands of talented people that need to be motivated and see opportunities everywhere they go. Let’s cross fingers for us for this year so that we move the network to a creative paradise.

Hi my name is Vlado Železňák and at the end of February I have been officially elected and also given the opportunity to join the excellent team of people in our national board as a national representative of Slovakia.
I come from Košice and i am currently studying fourth year of Media studies focused on print and electronic media in the beautiful historical university town called Prešov. It is that place where I first came into contact with ESN local section Unipo Prešov. It completely changed my university life. I am currently the National Representative of Slovakia as well as local president of this section. I am also a musician/pianist and my genre is pop rock. Music accompanies me since my childhood. In my leisure time I study foreign languages, I travel to meet new people and discover new places. If there is any event based on fun, party and dancing, I am always in. On the other hand, in terms of work and responsibilities, working as hard as possible is important to me, also the results not words.

Hey everyone! My name is Michal and I am a national webmaster of ESN Slovakia. I was elected during the National Platform Kosice in December 2012.
I am 24 years old and I live in Bratislava where I study Computer Science at Comenius University. I realized the existence of ESN in Bratislava, during my crazy and awesome Erasmus period in Amsterdam. Therefore, once I was back in Slovakia, I didn't have any doubt. I took a deep breath, and yes, I joined the ESN here in Bratislava, which name is ESN Comenius University of Bratislava or as we know it, ESN CU BA. There I fell in love with all the amazing people around me and working with them, it's a wonderful pleasure. Besides those classical hobbies such as traveling, taking pictures, and yeah, sleeping, I really like fish-keeping! Moreover, when I am bored about IT stuff, I love challenging myself in the kitchen. Italian carbonara and American pancakes are my best, you guys should try them, cause who knows, maybe I will just become a cook, but trust me, a really good one.

Hello, my name is Evka and it is pleasure for me to be National Fundraiser for Erasmus Student Network Slovakia.
I study Civil engineering at Technical University in Košice, this is my last, sixth year. ESN spirit found me during my Erasmus in lovely Italian town, Trento. It has changed my life, opened my mind and brought me a lot of experience, new friends and inspired me to be active young woman, ready to help and not to sleep during the life. Work in ESN is also my hobby and it gives me opportunity to meet a lot of great people. I prefer good coffee, white wine, chocolate, psychological books and baking cakes! But the best for me is to spend time with my close friends.

ESN Sections is here to help you and to make your time in Slovakia the best experience of your life! In order to achieve this goal, we organise seminars and presentations, trips, cultural and social activities and much more throughout the academic year.
