Departure from Prague

📅 30 April 2026 (Thursday) - late evening

Adventurer (Prague)

This year we have exclusive opportunity for people joining from Czechia, that our train will start the journey in Prague evening before official part of the event.

Estimated departure will be around 22:00 from Praha-Bubny station.

Enjoy the first night on the train exclusively only with your new friends and get ready for the adventure ahead.

This option is available only for Adventurer Ticket (Prague) holders.

May 2026

Early morning

Departure from Bratislava

📅 1 May 2026 (Friday) - early morning

Basic Adventurer Full Experience

Wake up in the beautiful city of Bratislava and get ready for the next part of your adventure. We are starting in the early morning to make the most of your day.

Estimated departure will be around 7:00 from Bratislava main station.

The breakfast will be served on the train, so you can enjoy it while admiring the views of the Slovak countryside.

PS: If you are worried about skipping school, don't worry, since this day is actually a public holiday in Slovakia, so you won't miss any classes 😉

Banská Bystrica

Welcome to the real heart of Slovakia. Pack your backpack and get ready for an exciting exploration!

Estimated arrival will be around 11:00 and we will leave at around 14:00 from Banská Bystrica main station (in case that you want to join us from here).

We will have a few hours to explore the city and enjoy the local culture, so make sure to bring your camera and comfortable shoes for walking.

You can find a place for lunch in the city center, where you can try some traditional Slovak dishes or just grab a quick bite before we continue our journey.

Liptovský Mikuláš

We are slowly approaching High Tatras! This city will show you beauties of picturesque Slovak region - Liptov.

Estimated arrival will be around 17:00 and we will leave at around 19:30 from Liptovský Mikuláš (in case that you want to join us from here).

We will have a few hours to explore the city and enjoy the local culture, so make sure to bring your camera and comfortable shoes for walking.

Let's prepare your stomach for dinner that will be served!

Arrival to Košice

Our train will stop here for 24 hours. After a well spent night with your new friends, enjoy the whole day full of activities in the second biggest city of Slovakia.

People sleeping:

In the accommodation will be transferred to the apartments
On the train will stay on the train, which will be parked in the Barca station of Košice (a borough of Košice).

During the Saturday it is up to you - you can do your own thing, but we will prepare a lot of activities and events in the city, so you won't be bored.

Departure from Košice

📅 2 May 2026 (Saturday) - evening

Hop-on on the train full of memories and parties. Be prepared for 2 stages with many DJs with broad variation of genres are waiting for you onboard.

Estimated departure will be around 20:30 from Barca station. Few minutes later we will stop in Košice main station, so people from accommodation can hop back on the train.

The night will be long, that's we have party snack for you ready on the train. The party will last until we arrive to Bratislava early morning on Sunday.

PS: Smokers don't worry, we will have stops, where you can get off the train and have a smoke, so you won't miss any of the fun on the train 😉

The final destination after an unforgettable journey filled with memories and new friendships. Note, that the journey ends here for everyone (even for Adventurer Ticket (Prague) holders).

Estimated arrival will be around 6:00 to 7:00 to Bratislava main station.

PS: During the night, we will also stop in Žilina and Trnava, where (Erasmus) students from these cities can get off the train.

Who can participate in ESN Adventure Train 2026? +

ESN Adventure Train 2026 is open to university students over 18 years old who are ready for an unforgettable journey.
The event is designed for:

Erasmus+ exchange students

Slovak university students

International degree students

You do NOT need to be a member of ESN or part of the ESN community to participate. ESN Adventure Train is primarily focused on the student community and brings together students from different backgrounds who share a passion for travel, adventure, and intercultural experiences. If you are a student and over 18, you are welcome to join us on this unique adventure.

What is included in the price? +

The content of your ticket depends on the type of ticket you choose, but every participant gets access to the core ESN Adventure Train programme and activities.

Included for all ticket types

No matter which ticket you choose, all participants receive:

Breakfasts and dinners
Drinking water during the journey
Welcome pack filled with goodies from our partners
Programme at stops in three different Slovak cities
On-board programme during the train journeys, including:

Social/party carriage
Additional chill-out zones

All-night party across 2 train carriages, featuring various DJs, keeping the energy alive the whole night on the route from Košice to Bratislava

Accommodation

Accommodation varies according to the ticket type:

Basic Ticket - no accommodation included
Adventurer ticket - sleeping in the train carriage
Full Experience ticket - accommodation provided in Košice
Adventurer (Prague) ticket - 2 nights in a sleeper train carriage

How do I register? +

To register for ESN Adventure Train 2026, simply follow these steps:

Visit our official e-shop.
Select your preferred ticket type.
Fill in the registration form with your details.
Complete the payment process.

Once your registration is finished, your ticket will be sent directly to your email inbox.

What should I bring? +

To make the most of your ESN Adventure Train experience, we recommend bringing:

A valid ID or passport (same as you stated in the registration form)
Your ticket (digital version is enough)
Fully charged power bank for your phone
Comfortable clothes for travelling and (possibly) sleeping on the train
Warm layers (train nights can get chilly)
Earplugs and an eye mask (especially if you plan to sleep on the train)
Comfortable shoes for walking and city programme
Personal hygiene items (toothbrush, deodorant, wet wipes, etc.)
Any personal medication you may need
A small backpack for daily activities during city stops
A reusable water bottle
Good vibes and party spirit

What is the cancellation policy? +

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the event and logistical arrangements, tickets are non-refundable once purchased.

However, if you are unable to attend, ticket resale or transfer to another person may be possible, depending on the current conditions and availability. Any ticket transfer must be approved by the ESN Adventure Train organising team.

We recommend that you carefully check your availability before purchasing a ticket.

In case of unforeseen circumstances that lead to event cancellation from our side, a full refund policy will be implemented.
