We’re excited to launch this year’s edition of the ESNsurvey, focused on the core elements of student mobility: the experience of the students, the support they receive, and the impact that mobility has on their lives once they go back home. Special attention will be given to the effect of COVID-19 on the mobility experience since this is the most important external factor affecting student mobilities at the moment. The questionnaire has been developed with the valuable support of an expert group consisting of the European Commission, Lifelong Learning Platform (LLLP), European Association for International Education (EAIE), Academic Cooperation Association (ACA), International Association of Universities (IAU), and Tilburg University.

The questionnaire has 6 parts with questions on student mobility. It should take you about 20 minutes. Your participation will help ESN to better represent the interests of international students in the future. The findings of this study will be published in the “ESNsurvey 2021 Report” around April 2021.

What is ESNsurvey?

ESNsurvey is the largest European-wide research project conducted solely by volunteers. The Erasmus Student Network uses the results to advocate for the improvement of exchange programmes and education in Europe. As every year, we hope that thousands of students all around Europe will fill in the survey and tell us their experiences and perceptions related to studying abroad.
