NATIONAL PLATFORM ŽILINA 2017

The topic of last National Platform of network ESN Slovakia was “Winter is coming” and where does winter come closer to you than in the north? ESN Žilina took over the whole organisation and took care of us all during the last weekend in November (24. – 26. 11. 2017) and we would like to thank them once again for amazing organisation and smooth process.

We are excited about the number of new members who took a part on NP in Žilina. Considering the organisation of small session for newbies, they could learn something new about ESN, more precisely to get to know the ESN structure and running. This platform was very interactive and we made decisions on several things. We discussed the changes of standing order, referring to the articles about the ending of a section, removal members of NB and adding job description for Vice-NR. We agreed on increasing the price for ESN cards from €1 to €2 taking into account new and important national and international partners. And the last thing we voted on, was proposal Martin Schön for function of Honest President, he was elected unanimously. Congratulations one more time!

On the NP, we could hear except usual topics such as section updates, updates from NB members and national coordinators, also ESN review because during the upcoming AGM, there will be an election about the structural changes of whole network. Besides plenaries, we had an opportunity to take a part on several beneficial and interesting workshops.

To strengthen our friendships within ESN Slovakia, we all had fun together during the social programme, we played bowling, darts, we watched movie Frozen; because ESN is also about friendships and relationships. We believe that everyone liked this NP, learnt something new, got to know new people and is excited about the next platform. We will see each other in the summer term!

 

 

Posledná národná platforma networku ESN Slovakia sa niesla v tematike „Winter is coming“ a kde je k nám zima najbližšie než na severe? Organizácie sa chopila sekcia ESN Žilina a postarala sa o nás všetkých počas posledného novembrového víkendu 24. – 26. 11. 2017, a týmto sa im chceme ešte raz poďakovať za skvelú organizáciu a hladký priebeh platformy.

Tešíme sa z počtu nových členov, ktorí sa zúčastnili NP v Žiline. Vzhľadom na to, že bola vedená aj „session“ pre nových členov, mali možnosť dozvedieť sa o ESN viac, resp. lepšie spoznať celkovú štruktúru a fungovanie. Táto platforma bola veľmi interaktívna a rozhodovalo sa na nej o viacerých veciach. Preberali sme zmenu vnútorného poriadku ESN Slovakia, konkrétne články, ktoré sa týkajú zániku sekcie, odvolávania členov NB a doplnenie náplne práce Vice-NRa. Odhlasovali sme navýšenie cien ESN kariet z 1€ na 2€ vzhľadom na nových významných národných aj medzinárodných partnerov. A posledné, o čom sme hlasovali, bol návrh Martina Schöna na Čestného prezidenta, ktorý bol jednohlasne zvolený. Týmto mu ešte raz blahoželáme!

Na NP odznelo okrem tradičných tém ako sú sekčné updaty, či updaty členov NB a národných koordinátorov, ESN review, pretože na nasledujúcom AGM sa bude hlasovať o viacerých štrukturálnych zmenách celého networku. Okrem plenárok sme mali možnosť zúčastniť sa aj viacerých prínosných a zaujímavých pracovných seminárov.

A aby sme posilnili naše kamarátske vzťahy v rámci ESN Slovenska tak sme sa počas večerného programu spolu zabávali, zahrali sme si bowling, šípky, pozreli si film Ľadové kráľovstvo a utužovali sme naše kamarátstva, pretože aj o tých je ESN. Veríme, že sa každému na NP páčilo, niečo si z nej odniesol, niečo nové sa naučil, spoznal nových ľudí a už sa teší na ďalšiu veľkú platformu. Vidíme sa v letnom semestri!
